A delicious, traditional, cream based chowder, this recipe calls for the standard chowder ingredients: onion, celery, potatoes, diced carrots, clams, and cream. A little red wine vinegar is added before serving for extra flavor. A great, hearty soup to start a meal off with, or can even be a meal in itself. New England clam chowder normally contains clams, potatoes, onions, salted pork and milk or cream.

  1. Take 1 lb razor clams
  2. Get 2 large stalks celery

  11. Prepare 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  12. Get 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  13. Prepare 1 large onions

Stir in the flour to distribute evenly. Clean the clams and then chop them into small pieces. Put to the side until ready to add to the pot. Heat the butter in a stockpot over medium-high heat.

Instructions to make Clam chowder:
  1. Clean and steam the clams remove from shells.
